Start Project

Brand strategist with 15+ years building identities for global brands.

I started as a designer in-house at a global creative agency, evolved into strategic direction, and now work independently with founders and creative directors who need a trusted voice to elevate their brands.

My work spans luxury, tech, nonprofit, and cultural sectors. I'm interested in brands with a point of view and teams who embrace ambition.

The long view

I grew up in Montreal and studied design and business at Concordia. After graduation, I joined Pentagram's New York office, where I spent six years working on identity systems for Fortune 500 companies and cultural institutions. That experience—designing at scale, navigating stakeholder alignment, and translating strategy into visual language—shaped how I approach brand work.

In 2014, I went independent. The shift felt natural: I wanted deeper collaboration with founders, longer-term partnerships, and the space to think about brand as a business engine, not just a visual exercise.

Since then, I've worked with emerging tech companies, established luxury brands, nonprofits, and everything in between. Common thread: they all had clarity on *why* their brand mattered, and needed help translating that clarity into visual and strategic systems that actually move markets.

Today, I split my time between strategic projects—audits, identity systems, campaign direction—and retainer partnerships with brands that want ongoing strategic depth. I'm based in New York but work globally, and I'm most engaged when I'm in the room (or on calls) with founders and creative teams, thinking out loud together.

How I work

01
Discovery
Deep conversations about brand history, market position, audience, and ambition. Competitive analysis and market landscape.
02
Strategy
Synthesis into a brand narrative—positioning statement, key messages, and visual direction framework before any design.
03
Design
Rapid visual exploration, iteration with feedback, and refinement into a cohesive system (logo, type, color, imagery language).
04
Delivery
Brand guidelines, asset libraries, launch strategy, and hand-off training to ensure the work lives well beyond the project.
